MoS Style
Consisting of nothing but marines, make sure you have a mediocre budget to afford the units.
Stay away from his units, if any cities you want are walled, hit it with 1 marine or a stealth to avoid being compromised
After so, make sure you have more than half the size of his defending army, then your marines will take it. (Ex: 3 marines, 8 militia won't take. 4 marines, 8 militia, could take, 5 marines, 8 militia, will take.)

Here is a style that should work for lower ranked people. (however it won't get you a lot of SP.) On your first turn load 2-3 submarines/or 1-2 airtransports full of stealth units and place them right against an enemy capital. This will prevent them from building a wall and it will also allow you to attack and (hopefully) keep your enemies capital long enough for a win. (This strategy will not work as well if this person has loads of units 1 turn away from his capital so it might be wise to wait two turns before attacking his capital with Marines.) Just a thought. I have used this method twice on lower ranked players and it worked great.

No, but later on in the game it could be smart to use that Marines strategy

In my opinion the best tactic is to buy uo as many marines as you can but leave yourself some money, then a quarter hits the capital as a distraction then next turn (because he will have redirected some units to his capital) you send in the other three quarters to regions where he has moved troops out and sent them to capital also you can distract him by placing a nuke near his capital. Don't use it though or you will have the whole world on your hands.

The best tactic is walling every capital city while using Relentless Attack, the most underrated strat in the game and the best one.

So.. what do you do if the enemy actually breaks your walls? Which is especially bad, cause, you know, RA sucks arse at defending? What do you do when the enemy just wallfucks your cities so you can't make walls around them?
What do you do if the enemy is PD, and thus can make a 9 defense infantry in a city to counter your 9 attack tank, except for half the cash?
(also wow these necros)
