This hotel called Faridpur Hotel is located in Dhacca, Bangladesh and it's the cheapest hotel in all the world. One night can cost you 50 cents. Below you can give me your opinion and say if you would stay in that hotel. It's a boat style hotel and here are some images:

Speaking about cheap hotels, in Greece they are very cheap, for a developed country full of tourists.

But i don't get it, Greece have 20 million tourists a year, and Austria have same amount. Why would someone spend a vacation in a landlocked central european country and pay more, while it can get sandy beaches, sunny weather, crystal-clear sea for less

You do know there's a variety of Tourism types, right? Tourism destinations aren't solely the ones with beaches and a nice weather. You can do tourism for history/monuments, where central european countries can drag people to, or do tourism for nature (hence again what they can drag people to), etc..

Personally I have a bigger interest in visiting Austria than visiting Greece

Yeah but why 20 million EACH year, it's like whole world is visiting Austria. Greek tourism is more logical because you keep coming back every year, to rest from work and enjoy the summer, but i can't imagine someone go more than 2 times to Vienna.

Austria neighbours a lot of countries, so it has a potential 'market' of millions and millions of people. Besides, Austria is not about Vienna, there's this famous austrian village that has attracted a lot of tourists recently:

That's Hallstat by the way.

I am bored of the sun because i have it every day since the day i was born so i find vacations to central and western europe interesting.

But i fail to see why people from colder climates would prefer to spend their vacations anywhere else than Southern Europe where the sun is burning, the beaches are golden and the people actually have souls (in contrast with the stuck up robots of the north and central)

still those northern robots are literally mantaining the southern europe (Greece, Portugal ; Spain).

Because mostly the ppl who go to france, germany, uk etc. are mostly from nearby countries which they can travel to with the car/bus/train/even the pond/ferry. This results usually in more of a cheaper traveling. Even going by plane is pretty cheap. This could be the main reason.

As for the austria, ppl most likely go there for skiiing/snowboarding during winters etc.

However I do agree going to southern europe is in my opinion the most logical place to spend vacation, especially when you live the rest of the year in a shitty, rainy, windy, cold-hole.
