I want to devote this thread purely to authentic items, reproductions aren't allowed. I want to see if there are any other collectors of historical pieces on AtWar and share what they have. Although I have an extensive collection of reproduction items, I'm more interested in what people have that are real, and perhaps share what I have as well. The first image above is my father's uniform from the East German military. Pictured are the Trousers, Tunic, and Visor Cap. The Ushanka and Gas Mask in the back are just in the background. These types of uniforms were worn by Border Guards, this type specifically for Berlin Wall Patrolmen. This is my uncle's Mosin, I'm not entirely sure where he got it, as I never met him, but it's authentic and fully functioning. And finally, here are two Soldier's Books issued to German Soldiers during the Second World War. The one on the right is my grandfather's while the one on the left is one I bought from another collector.

Your Grandfa won the war. That's more valuable than any rusty old gun, including a luger.. And lugers are pretty

I don't have anything substantial at my home, besides having a sort of accessory used to close the windows of the Ducal Palace of Vila Viçosa, owned by the Dukes of Braganza and a bunch of old newspapers from the beginning of the 20th century. At my grandparents home I have a personal exclusive letter written by Salazar to my Family (private, never showed to anyone outside the inner circle of the family), thanking for my great great-uncle in his Cabinet and a personal letter of the Portuguese Robin Hood, nicknamed in Portuguese as Zé do Telhado (kept in a drawer), thanking for my family's hospitality, and then a Viscountal Ring, once owned by the Viscounts of Barbacena. As I said, nothing almost as comparable as some items shown here. PS: Sheba your collection's interesting
