From the WHO website, who made the report: 1. What do you consider as red meat? Red meat refers to all mammalian muscle meat, including, beef, veal, pork, lamb, mutton, horse, and goat. I think this was widely known already before the study came out, but it's good to have it confirmed once more. My grandfather died of cancer, which is why I have been looking into this issue and came to the conclusion that lifestyle change is neccessary if I want to make it past 50. Since then I gradually changed my diet and apart from (hopefully) achieving a long-term result, I also feel more healthy and energetic in the present. It's easy to dismiss this as it's so remote in the future, but investing in your health is probably one of the better desicions you can make in your life.

Nice. i dont follow the latest, but the idea was that animal protein makes the blood acidic and cancer cells thrive in acidic enviroment. When you eat too much animal protein, abundant in meat and dairy products and not enough fruits, veggies etc to balance the acidic-alcaline levels in the blood, then theres a problem.

Our ancestors where carnivorous scavengers. They eat meat, even 300 years ago where was cancer then? The issue is not what we are doing it is genetics. We are a species with no natural enemies we are at the top of the food chain. We don't adapt to survive we don't even work to our full potential. When this happens in the wild disease takes part of the species to correct the gene pool and build a stronger species. These diseases are ment to kill those with weak genes off, it's mother nature's way of population control. But our advances in medicine and modern society are preventing such from happening correctly. I come from a strong german bloodline so if I'm gonna get center it's gonna happen anyways. Might as well live life happy none of us are getting out alive.
