How, where and why; how long were you bearing your online moniker and why chose to stick with it?

Mine's as it always been, yeomanry.

I used to spam em with cavalry knights and somehow got stuck with me since then.

That was in 2004. 11 years I bare the name in the internet.

What's yours? I bet waffel got his name from a burnt corndog stuck on someone else's colon or from Waffles but who knows?
