Welcome to Episode 1 of Season 1 of AtWar Commentaries. Witch-Doctor and Tunder were supposed to join us but they didn't pass the auditions. That being said, WD still makes his guest appearance in the last 30 seconds of the video, so make sure you go watch that.
That was absolutely horrid, you all sound muffled and very monotone. What's with that janky EDM from twelve years ago polluting the audio track(s)? And I know I'm a gigantic hypocrite for saying this, but tone down the language if you want more appeal from most people, especially those who aren't constantly on the forums.
I think this idea could end up being great, but execution of it sucks.
Like two standard commentators with guest appearances could bring more players in. But trashing everyone and random shit just ruined this..
The idea seems to have potential, but execution needs to improve, but then again, this is the first ever episode, so it wouldn't be expectable to have a fully polished work coming out. Still, in my personal view, this should appeal to a larger community than the one who roams around the forums, which should imply less profanity, a more clear speech (to appeal to non-english speakers that can more easily aprehend what's being said) and actual enthusiasm in your voices, to spark interest in your audience, and add some personal flavour to it, be creative and true to yourselves.
I'd suggest you watching Alex The Rambler or Drew Durnil or even ISorrowProductions, they're good "spectator-commentators" and add their personal touch to their videos, especially the first two.
