Give me some tips on giving the scenario a useful outcome

The Spanish Armada was the fleet. The battle where they actually got pwned by the English was the Battle of Gravelines in Belgium, where the English launched a fire ship attack and cancelled the rendezvous of the Spanish with the fleet that would take the troops they carried across the channel for an invasion. Then the Spanish retreated towards Scotland where some strong winds crashed several ships into rocks and threw the rest way off-course--which was arguably a more famous event.
Not a bad idea for a scenario. Not sure about including submarines though.
And 'armada' is spelt with one 'r'.

I think i know what you mean...
Do you mean the fact that, london could be reached via port, but madrid is surrounded by land as it has no port (madrid) so spain would win...
Erm, not really because there are sea transports which could lead to the english landing troops in spain and eventually taking the spaniards out.

Really dissapointing since you can take uk in the first turn from spain and from uk to spain.
It would be cool if we could configure the range for a unit
