Just finished reading this book a couple of weeks ago. The concept is awesome! Although I didn't liked it much at the start, it became a glue after the chromatic revolution. Many of the concepts there are sounds and makes sense indeed. My favorite part was when the Sphere tried to explain the Square the concept of a third dimension. Any readers of the book around?

A lot has to do with context. I was listening to someone who was discussing physics and how little we understand of present reality, so i thought it was a good read in considering other dimensions. Second time i read it was more of spiritual reason... i like how a 3d person in flatland has 'god-like' mystical abilities, which are obvious and not mystical at all to 3d dwellers... and wouldn't this be the case if 4d entities were to visit or observe us? Many other things... some hard to find language for, but opens the mind to alternate possibilities and perspectives. I now think it should be required reading for anyone with reasonable level of intelligence. Also, flatland girls are so linear ♥

Worth saying that Flatland was the first audio book that I completed. Took me two weeks hearing Flatland while on my way to the job https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AiJNqJ2DaSo

Why you got to keep bashing him? Some people have diferent tastes then others. I personally read because I'm obsessed with the idea of human preservation and the notion that we as a collective are going backwards not forwards. If everyone thought the same way as you, who would invent the things we require to advance society? Especially a book such as this one, which I believe at the very least fosters philosophical thought that can increase ones perception of the world around them. Thus creating a thinking mind, a mind ripe for creating and inventing new platforms and ideas. All and all live your life, but don't try to inhibit others because they are diferent then you. Maybe clovis programs the first super AI in his lifetime. Who knows but your comments are tasteless and without warrant.
