Should guests be allowed to make forum topics/posts?

Like reviving death topics and posting objection? Nah, you already do that with your main.....

I don't know if Guests should be stopped from posting. Though, I don't think they should feel they have to go guest to say their opinion. Unless a huge amount of spam comes from them I don't know if it should be "fixed."

I voted yes they should be allowed. Just because of some individuals we don't need to block it off if someone actually needs help, or is trying to help from the outside of our community.



Though there's an easy fix for this.

Block posting rights to all guest accounts and registered accounts rank 3 or lower(consistent with the beginners room) and rename the "Questions" forum to a "Help" forum. Move this Help forum and the Bugs forum into a separate section on the index at the top. So you would see these two at the top when you are a guest or just registered and looking at the forums. Make sure to have "Guests/new users are allowed to post here" with the descriptions. This allows someone(outside developer) who genuinely sees a problem in the game/forum to post in the bugs forum, and allows a new player access to help.

If a banned person wants to post they have to play a bit and get rank 4 then post. Easy ip search and click for a mod to ban. Causes more problems for the person making accounts than a moderator.

(Though, keep the coalition forums, supporter boards, mod/admin boards and the rest of the member-mask oriented boards over the help/bug forum. Just have the help/bug forums ontop for new people without clans or connections)

Not a good idea. Just as there were a few individuals that were banned from the forum. This does not mean there is a need to change the rules. Mods can simply disqualify the account of the guest that uses it to evade Forum ban. compatible with the rules. If that person was forbidden at the time he used a guest account the punishment length of course should increase.

There guests who might wish to express their opinions on certain issues or simply want to use in any topic they want. Preventing them from something like that because a handful(rule breakers) of people is not necessarily a good thing.

Therefore my vote is definitely NO.

Just to clarify. My vote is no for any change regarding the Guest accounts.

I agree. Because some people use "Guest" to insult other. And they are hypocrite with their real name.

Some guests need technical support or have questions about the game.

By the way: there is a button in the top right corner of each thread.
"Report to mods" it might not be that easy to find but you can use it to report
any abuse on the forums - no matter if guest or registered account.
