Seeing about interest in having a game option where you don't use any bought upgrades in that game. It could be used to even the field when playing against people that have a much higher rank. I know we have the rank restriction option, but with the small community that plays right now it can already be hard to fill a game.

I would like this, but maybe a checkbox to allow bought strategies or not along with it.

Not even close to the same thing. How are games fair between rank 2 and 9 players right now? I understand upgrades, and how the choices you make can create a unique playing experience. The problem is it only creates a level playing field between people of the same rank. Right now you have rank 7 people jumping in games with new players and killing them, because not only are they more experienced but also have a given edge. Do you really feel good about a win when the deck is stack in your favor? Granted I knew this wouldn't be a popular choice among older members. Guess I shouldnt have brought it up.

To be honest I don't think that is necessary, there is an option to limit the rank so you you don't want a level 8 coming in and destroying everyone set the maximum rank to 6 or 7.....much better solution than adding unnecessary options.

My point is trying to come up with a way to have an even competition within a game. The current system of upgrades doesn't allow for this. If it's to hard or not worth the time then so be it.

Upgrades or no upgrades, the best player will win, so this is of no use to new players really.

Playing evenly, a person with cheaper stronger units will win everytime! Edit: Haha Im sorry at this point it's a lost cause, I understand everyone likes the upgrades and don't want this I'll try my best to not post about it anymore.

I think just the option to play evenly would be fun. I don't care whether it's necessary or not, the only thing that matters is if it could be fun or not.
