So recently I have noticed that if you play a game on mozilla (atleast this is what I use since SL doesn't work on chrome) that if you use the unit tabs to move your units or take an amount of units after an amount of time, sometimes it doesnt happen for minutes, that it gets stuck on your mouse and you basically cant do anything but trying to click this thing away. I heard from several clanmembers and some other players around too that they have this annoying thing too. It really effects gameplaying since I played 2 3v3's in a row with ukraine and turkey, and the first turn I had this issue more than 5 times and got only 1.30 minuts left to do my expansions.

There has been made a thread about this with a video in it, which I will put in here too:

The point of this thread is to make people realize there are more people with this problem and to aware amok or the moderators.
Since html 5 still has a long way to replace SL, I think this problem should be fixed just for those who still enjoy playing SL.
I for my self cant play on html 5 since my pc can't handle the lagg it has. So the only thing I can play is SL.

If you have this problem, feel free to comment here and then we can see if this is a big problem.
Link to the other thread is :http://atwar-game.com/forum/topic.php?topic_id=21488

Why do you want to make your own thread when this change is already being discussed?

How about posting your proposal in one of the already made threads?

Also lol.... you're trying to steal someone's report.

I've saw Pulse answering to JCH in help channel that admins won't fix bugs for SL anymore. Not sure why...

Actually I had 13 screenshots in here. But I thought they would only spam the thread so I deleted them since the video explains all too.
I spoke with pulse about this, and he said that it was a good idea to make thread about it since not many people knew this problem.
Bugs forum isn't really something people watch everyday. Since this has a huge impact on AW gameplay and since alot of people still play SL, I thought this belongs in general discussion since this forum everyone checks. I didn't even know about a thread bout this problem untill pulse told me, so you see how unwell a forum bugs works.

This bug has to be fixed and since alot of people don't know about it I am sure this thread can easily stay here.

The showcase section however is a completely different story. All forum announced maps should be centered there. To say that no one visits the forum is a major understatement. If you do in fact advertise your map properly players should already be flocking to your thread and host your map.

Furthermore, justifying a thread in general just because "People don't see it" is a very bad argument.

You should rather explain to admins (in the already-constructed thread) why this bug affect gameplay and why it should'be fixed, not make your own thread about it.

Also, admins doesn't fix bugs based in ad populum, so the upvotes / comment are very irrelevant to the issue.

(P.S: unlike maps you cannot announce your bug in global, so good luck at promoting the views there).

This isn't the fault of atWar, however.

Switch to an old version of Firefox( 36 and below) and disable auto-update. That will fix your issue.

Ehh what? Admins sure as hell do fix bugs if it is based on a huge part of AW.
I think it is useless to comment in the thread that is alrdy been made why I think this should be fixed, because since this thread is made couple of days ago and yet no admin has responded to it nor noticed it.
I don't get your whole attitude since this also might infect your gameplay. I never said something about upvotes. I only asked if more people had this problem. I dont get your problem clovis? Not everything is based on upvotes or reps? Lol. Crazy.

Hmm. What if firefox doesn't work?
I mean alot of people switched to mozilla, and I don't know if they are also ready to switch again to firefox.
I am pretty sure that html 5 is not any close in replacing SL, which means that people still will play SL for a long time and a huge issue like this would really effect the amount of players actually playing this game.

Isn't there really any way of the admins to fix this bug?

What do you mean by Firefox not working?

If you want HTML5 to be closer to replacing SL( which it will have to), then get on the HTML5 train and report bugs, suggest features!

It's good you reported this; I had to experience it myself, hence I know the solution for it. Try an old version of Firefox( < 36) and see how the problem isn't there.

They do - if there are bugs in the game, they fix it. This thread is to see who else has this issue and if it's worthwhile to fix it or wait for HTML 5.

That's not a very good solution. Do you really expect a parcel of the players to keep an out of date browser just for AW?

The best solution is to let Firefox die. That browser is what you think of is behind you when getting up from the toilet seat.

They can always use Opera, which works just like Chrome, but hasn't disabled Silverlight yet.
Or IE, which is just "there" for compatibility reasons.

There are numerous other browsers out there.

They don't - as they had explained in other thread, bugs are fixed based on their priority (which is obviously decided by the admins, not the community).

Ad populum can be a good indicator of priority but is not the best. Take a time for notice how many bugs had been reported and even with the community comments on them, they're still not fixed. On the other hand, some potencial bugs that had almost no comment from the community were fixed asap.

First you did it on the community and thought you knew all better than the community, now you even do it against the moderators...
It is really annoying to talk with you, let stand discussing with you..

Every thread you come like you know all better than the others. This is a bug that should be fixed, whether you like it or not.

1. I fail at understanding why we need more people to see this thread. The bug was confirmed in Desktop, Chrome and Mozilla, so it is clearly a problem in the game. What do you think replies from other players will add to this thread? Something we already know for sure.

2. Amok already saw your thread. All he need to do is to try replicating the bug, then fix it.

3. That your thread got moved to bugs is just to fit the content of the thread. There are rules that you've forgot to follow, and must be glad this didn't lead you to a ban from forums. Meester let it VERY CLEAR which type of content should'be in General Forum.
