Modern rap is crap. Really crap. Golden age of rap has been and gone. Find something else to be good at, there are too many rap artists and not enough engineers and intellectuals.

I wouldn't even call guitar a skill worth mentioning. Go too school, get better grades and find something better than rap and music.

As something to be proud of? Not really. Music is fun, if you get famous, that's amazing but unlikely. Skills like engineering, sciences, politics and law are far more important. If someone was great at chemistry, that is far superior to music.

Sorry Tik but I don't have the skills that will help me play Guitar. That and I can "BARELY" sing, so this is what I do and have been doing since I like 5 and didn't know shit. Just to let you know I still listen to old rap songs because I agree that there way better than whats coming out now.

Why should someone choose a career they don't like? Out of everything you listed the only thing I would choose is politics and I would be hesitant about it.

Because art and creative music isn't productive. We should be cloning, investigating space, mining gas giants, moons and claiming planets. We should be using thorium reactors, adopting Tesla style sciences, creating working sustainable systems with as much Liberty as possible.

There are more than enough ''musicians'' and ''artists'' doing bugger all. We need efficient, intelligent workers, people who can create a new world without this modern creative obsession with bullshit practices.

As a musician, I could possibly present something different on a larger stage. But really, I'm not doing anything productive other than inspiring those who will.

Fact of life. Hardly anyone does anything they love. You work to live, it's what mankind has been doing since it learnt to walk and talk.
