I feel that I can't add anything relevant to the discussion. If I were to reply, I'd just quote what I've already said previously.

I'll participate in this discussion once again when there's something relevant to reply to.

The aim of participating is not adding new spontaneuos information but to reach a common view.

I disagree. What you're asking for is a circular argument which have no end. Discussing the same matter over and over again without any new information is pretty much like discussing what is better Rock Paper or Scissor. In a circular argument it's not possible to reach a "common view" i.e you can't get everybody to agree that scissor is better, as Rock people will disagree.

Let's take your current argument with Helly for example. You're sending him to try a direct approach to Amok and, if no answer is given, to return to a public approach. The thing is, that the "direct approach" happened long ago. When the "public approach" started Amok rfirst put several dates, then replied this:

I wouldn't be surprised if this thread ends with either no reply or one similar to the above one.

But as you can see this was not enough, and once again they decide to make a thread about the subject (this one). Then Amok will either not respond or leave the same reply. Then they will, again, make another thread about the subject. This is a circle that will repeat itself until the map editor is released.

Also notice that you aren't the first, nor will be the last one to call for a direct approach. It has been done in the past with a cyclical result.

I've took part of this discussion because I had something relevant to talk about, which was the Amok's replied quoted before. It led Invisi to talk about the customer's right which he said that Helly was using.

By participating, what you're supposed to do is prove your points and eventually convince them that what you're saying is "right". Not simply providing empty sentences with no real purpose other than simply fill a blank space.

Hurray for you... you "convinced" with Sun's help a single person of a tiny part of the problem. Now you only have another 50 to go. You still haven't succeeded. And believe me, you never will, so it's useless to keep trying, even with "new information". People can be very stubborn.

Sure it's easier to assume that I missed the point and "try to explain me" what you mean. You keep claiming that the idea is to prove your points in order to convince a person, but this is assuming that there's a single valid point in the first case. Taking my previously example it would'be like convincing people that Rock is better than Paper of Scissor.

I'm going to provide you another example.

1) At the first pages of the thread some people claimed that they had payed Money for a Map Editor, and that they don't have one.
2) I said that we do have the Silverlight's Map Editor.

3) Tunder claimed that the current Map Editor is "unusable" due to the amount of bugs that it have.

4) I objected the term "unusable" as it works just fine for me. I also said that the problem with maps unavailable will be solved each time a new server restart happens (Which Sun Tzu said that he would push for them happening more often).

5) Helly quoted me saying that it was "broken"

6) Once again, I objected the term and provided a screenshot in which you can clearly see me using the Map editor without any major problem.

7) I suggested helly to report any bug that he have to Ivan, as he could probably fix it. He first said that he won't wait 60 days for it to be fixed, then returned to talk about the amount of bugs that the Map Editor have. Furthermore he also refuse to fix the bugs for which 3) was made.

But iv spoken to many people who randomly disconnect, just like me, everytime they go to save, but I don't want them to fix some stupid bug on a outdated server, we don't want any distractions on a three month late release on a feature that was already available when I purchased premium.

Edit: that's scenario editor it's a totally diferent thing then the actual map editor. Diference being you spend 45 minutes making a scenario in scenario editor and 3 months in map editor making the map.

admins said the map editor was going to be released on december of 2015, then they moved the date because they were being too optimistic into february, then they moved the date once again to april, then when that date expired amok came out and said he was busy. We have waited 6 months for "5%" to be done... and now we don't even know when it could be done.

This topic was created because amok didn't gave us a proper date so we are left on the cold and have no idea when the map editor will be out, this has left the door open to speculation in which individuals all make up on their minds an idea of when the map editor will be released (since supposedly only 5% is left).

This was not suppose to be an argument, we only want to know when amok will finish the editor.

and i gave you pictures showing that new maps made on the silverlight editor can't be tested due to a bug that has been reported since the html5 server was split from silverlight (it was up to 15 days for the maps to be playable)

You can change the definition of broken and unusable and then belittle the problems we have when it comes to the editor., BUT THAT WON"T SOLVE ANYTHING FOR ANYBODY CLOVIS, the bugs are still going to be there and everybody will have to wait 15 days to tests their maps.

again this is not suppose to be an argument, we only want to know when the map editor will be released since only "5%" was left and since admins seem unlikely to fix the problems of an already dead software. Even if they were going to fix it, it has taken over 6 months already even when this bug has been reported countless of times.

Tunder is right this was only turned into an argument from boot licking bullshiters like yourself. There is no arguement untill you started talking about things you have no clue about, this is the only viable way to communicate disarray when they decide to ignore the problem.

Well if you don't get it done I geuss there isn't much we can do but be let down, I really really want to help the community in the only way I know how and that's making new content, I don't want to see this game die it's given me countless hours of entertainment. A simple way to avoid all this 'trouble' is by not logging into at war.. avoid it. will it change your current position? probably not.

or simply wait for Amok to fix the editor, sooner or later it will be finished. most of you think it's some thing easy to do code.. i'm sure it's really complicated stuff that probably neither of you can build alone.
