Change turn times

Hi guys, can anyone tell me how long it takes to change the turn time?

I am hosting a game and originally set it to 12hrs, but the other players suggested 24hrs to allow for us to sleep and go to work etc. I've clicked to change it in the in-game settings but it stays at 12hrs. Could it be because everyone needs to finish taking their turn before increasing it?

The turn time can only be changed if a majority of the players agree. The change will be proposed to them at the start of the next turn, so you will have to wait until then before the settings will be changed, if more than half of the players agree that the settings should be changed.
