Dear Dev Team,

The What: Increasing the size of maps in a scenario maker, or decreasing the range of units in the scenario maker.

The Why: To make the map feel bigger, on account of some scenarios like "American Civil War" and "American Colonization" simply not working on account of cities being too close to each other to be believable. Being able to alternate the range of units and the 'scale' of the map, would put more tools into the hands of creative people to make better and more creative scenarios.

The Questions: How hard would this idea be to implement, or are there any reasons not to implement this idea?

Unit range: quite easy.
Map scale: very hard.

What about cutting off the image area of a map, so you can only see the playable area? Would that be hard to implement? Sometimes, people wan't their scenarios to feel secluded and large, like the WW1: Dawn of War scenario.
