The Great Musical Debate!

There can only be one winner...personally,I believe the superior musical rac...I mean GENRES are Rock and Rap.
Post below what you think is ze best.

Genres aren't good, artists are good. In my opinion there is no musical style that is inherently "good" or "bad". I listen to a lot of metal, hardcore and metalcore but I am also completely aware that there is a lot of crap in the genre. Also, I really don't usually like rap but there are a couple artist that I actually enjoy.

Considering all this I just voted "other"

Where's the "All of the above option"? All music is love.

Anything with a '-core' can go to fuck. Taste is a matter of opinion but quality is not and quality spans genres. Here's some variety for you kids.

Yeah, the genres in the post seem a bit general. Any style can be good depending on quality and other distinct factors. I normally base my preference upon good lyrics that have a meaning and thrive off talent. In my opinion, metal, hardcore, experimental and anything in the underground genres display the best talent and quality also considering THEY MAKE their own music and not a production studio. Although I am aware of the badness in these genres there cannot be a perfect or best genre out there.
