The battle phase is something that adds effect, intensity and epicness to the game. Quite frankly, who actually watches the battles? (Other than lower ranks new to the game) Most of us just skip it or look at results for specific battles. Here's what I suggest. Instead of having the battle a "phase", therefore separate from the gameplay, rather integrate the two so that players can continue playing their next turn while the battles happen at the top of the screen. For example, first 5 battles appear at the top of the screen, once they're complete, the next 5 battles come in the proceeding slide. (can be 10 battles, 12, 8 whatever can fit, of course proportionally so that players can still play without it being in the way) Lastly, what I find fascinating and awesome is the sound effects of the battles. Only thing missing; variety. At the moment, all attacks no matter what unit it is has the same sound. I suggest adding different sounds for each unit. (To make it more epic, realistic etc). For instance, tanks would be more of an explosive, powerful sound, while infantry would be simple gun sounds. Then of course there's the bombers who can have the "dropping bomb effect" (you know when the bombers line up and come cruising down dropping explosives, that would be awesome to have.) And then for subs, the torpedo sound would be great. DISCUSS!!!!

But this would be confusing, because u cant play while looking at the battles, it could be a phase that u CANT skip, so u have to watch, and THEN you start ur turn, it wouldnt take that long, i think. And i cant visualize how the screen would look like with ur explination.. So, u mean the screen will be divided?

Well i didnt specify because i'm not a game designer. I'm sure it isnt hard for the admins to implement this setting with out it being in the way. I was thinking for the battle phase to be maybe as big as the players' menu.

hmm, k, so ur saying only the city name and the battle and not showing the city on the map, yea, could be usefull. Also another idea is if you can rewatch it, with a click of a button for example under the map, cause sometimes i skip and then during the next turn i see a city i had lots of troops in is capped, so i want to see the battles again. So that could also be an idea, but ofc, usually u dont have that much time left in a turn..
