[SUGGESTIONS] Player of The Year 2015

Hello gentlemen.

As you may already know the Player of The Month(PoTM) system has been abandoned evident from the lack of any player who won the award last year.

Reasoning behind this is pretty clear from Desu's post

I'm in the other camp, I don't see the point of awards bound by time to a season or month. Trying to point one person out in a time frame is flawed if your idea is to try to base the thing upon merit. Several people could do awesome things at the same time, while absolutely nothing could be done for the rest of the year. I understand that it's being used let people know they're valued, and to try to bring activity back. It works if that's the current aim.

Maybe devise a system around one large topic where notable events or actions by people are posted. A sort of public nomination system, so we get more options and candidates. Supporters vote or pick the best in supporter forums, then mods present the candidates in either the same format--PotS, or we just list all the nominees at the end of the year for PotY.

Much like the old Player of The Year system, the winner is determined through community vote with the alternate vote system. The only difference is now there will be a wider range of nominee's to choose from. No longer will you be restricted to 12 players.

It would be skewed voting an admin, but I truly think he's done so much for the game since he's been promoted; I'd like to put Sun's name in.

Why? This guy is one of the strongest players in the game and he is not even a rank 10 yet.. He is dinoscouts other half . Together they are like bread and butter and two of the most respectful and dangerous players in the game: They are the reason in my opinion, that Enigma has been so successful. I feel Heat check is slightly overshadowed by dinoscout and doesn't quite get the recognition he deserves, but he never asks for that or seems bothered by it. He just sits there quietly duelling away and tag teaming pros with Dino, handing them surprise ass whoopings on the fly. He's also a supporter and helps guys out and always seems to be active, when other guys would probably take a break... I cant think of a better wild card nomination. VOTE HEAT

I would like to vote for the entire supporter team for their great idea's and even tough many internal conflicts they still managed to keep in mind that game improvements are top priority

He has personally came out with and I am not even sure with the exact number of very useful and help forum threads. He set up a very useful system for helping new players. No one else has came out with an idea in the past to help new members continue playing and that's exactly what he is doing. Also including he has started a new tournament for rank 9's. And he is very much the leader without a title of the Supporter team since he is one of the older and more experienced elite members. He probably deserves it most.

Can we nominate more than one guy? I think Google Chrome deserves recognition for his effort with find a newb and find a mentor. I really hope the winner isn't some drama queen or flame war participant.... GC is the total opposite of that too.

Seriously, for a 28 year old a response like that is below you. Think about your own flaws before pointing out someone else's. Croat has tried to host a number of tournaments with varied success and he deserves respect for that. Clovis also deserves respect for his guides: Wall investigation, begginers, intermediate and advanced guides, he is leading the boot camp programme, he actively encourages and trains lower ranks and he is working on video tutorials. Not to mention has supported and ran a number of tourneys himself this year. Whether you agree with his nomination or not, you could atleast show him some respect for what he's done.

when someone starts acting to you like Clovis have towards me last year, dispite you always acting in good intentions towards him... then i will ask you about this sentence
