We had good relations in many aw seasons, nice games/cws/even insults, here through many years.

After some time we both become fags about some things, and that resulted to thar good relations become cold. But still iim sure there is still much more goood memories and things then bad ones.

Aw will lose more then you will. After u quit it. This game cant replace some players and that hole becoming bigger every day.

For sue you didnt deserved to got called "son of bich" by new master of atwar.

For me this is sad news, and idk how long will some other old players (including me) stay here.

The arguement between Dave and Lao was that intense because they both are strong characters and won't back off easily if they know they're right. Lao can be arrogant, ego-centric and challenging and Dave does not like these characteristics, on which I support him.

The fact that he's an admin does not mean he can't argue or insult players. Yeah it would be better if he didn't but still.

I mean ffs if you search lao in forum you will see more than 15 threads dedicated to all of his dramas. Chill the F out.

Lao meant a huge deal for this game, not only as a player, not only as a competitive player, not only as an ex-mod, but mostly as a person who has helped advance this game throughout the years. Sure lao is stronlgy opinionated and Dave is probably aswell, and thats most likely the whole reason they didn't get along, but I think its more the fact how it happened. Lao got shit on for months by Clovis because he ''did go hard on some players'', and after Amok and Ivan's absence he eventually got sacked by Clovis for that ridiculous reason, especially if you compare this to the recent comments coming from the admins/mods. You would say that after Clovis' reasoning, there would be some kind of precedent/measurement for the behaviour of mods and admins.

Lao was probably one of the few, if not the only, mod that has been constructive for the last couple of years when it comes to improving this game. At the time it was verry popular to do ''constructive'' things in order to get promoted to mod. People just started doing ''constructive'' things and after they got promoted to moderator they stopped doing constructive things for aw, as if they had reached their goal. You yourself has said that this has happened and that those people did those things just for their own benefits. If you compare this to what Lao has done before and during his mod-time AND even after his modtime, you should understand the ''public outburst'' of Lao's potential leaving. Not to mention that Lao's whole forum-history has been erased and he is perma-muted in game & forums, as if the dude never existed in the first place. I think thats quite saddening and pretty ungrateful for all the things he has done for this game.

This has shown what Dave really is. We should submit, obey and move on.

He might have his ideologies of whats good and bad, but Lao usualy knew what he was talking about when it came to strategy balancing. If you'd take a look at what people suggested, it would've been the end of actual gameplay in this game. Be grateful Lao atleast put his energy in these kind of projects for the sake of the game, instead of own benificial gameplay like alot of people proposed for.

I wish it wouldn't have reached this state, but it happened and that's what it is. Let's move on and stop mentioning this drama, because I don't want it to diminish Dave's motivation to be involved in the community. Hopefully they'll work things out from this point.

Sure, you're right about the fact that some of us saw them selves above others, and that is wrong I agree. But Lao didn't deserve to be called out like that, imo, I think it was just in the heat of the moment.

Tho look at the picture that is being potrayed at this moment. A person who has invested his energy and time over the past years, took a huge active part of the moderation squad, a squad that was pretty much dead at the moment and the admins not really caring at the same time, trying to meet expectation from different communities, even finding a suitable scenario moderator, hosting tournaments (and I could go on..) getting publicly crucified in forums & gamechats and getting his whole history erased and being permanently muted on all chats in game.

I dont really think that sets as a good precedent to have people invest their time and actively help on improving this game. Believe me when I say, that I honestly think Dave is doing a tremendous good job when it comes to improving this game, making it more active and being so transparent with the community about every move he makes. Though I do believe that he shouldn't have done to Lao what he did and was imo a huge mistake. Sure Lao can be a pain in the ass when you disagree with him, but most of the times you can try to just talk it out in a civilized manner.

Laochra has done nothing more than any of us. We all have been a part of strategy changes and have pushed admins to make them happen. We have all tried to gather the information amd all the suggestions to get a more clear view on what the community desires. However Laochra had a thing for ignoring everything and doing his own thing apart from some exceptions. He would only listen to 1-2 players and no one else.

It's our fault he was acting like that because we fed his ego, made him think he's viable and super important for the game to grow, well let me just say he wasn't. Anyone can do what he did. You have even convinced yourself to think he was the reason the game is where it is.

Yes I can agree some bad decisions had been made regarding his mod carreer but that doesn't mean anything. Another story where his ego was fully boosted. I had some arguements with him as well but never stopped respecting him as a mod nor as a player. He thought otherwise. Not my fault.
