Should we mold the game according to competitiveness or mold competitiveness according to game?

I don't really know what type of effect this will have, to change the mechanics in this way. Speaking about the Eu metagame, a lot of expansions that used this trick will become harder (if not impossible) to be done. Will players adapt or quit? I guess we will need to wait till HTML to see the answer...
Players will adapt and come up with new tricks, trust me. As for those who won't, well, let me just say we will not be reintroducing old bugs/exploits back just for the sake of it, that's just mental.
At the end it's all up to admins to decide what to do with their game. This is just one of the many many times in atWar history where admins elected the rest of the game over 'competitive' Eu
Though I hardly doubt this happens with the current situation with the map editor...

From a pragmatic perspective, I'd just like to note that the modern world changes very, very quickly.
It's absurd to think that the developers can keep up with every significant change in the state of the world by changing the map.

ya, just 20% of players left the game after html update, that's the adaption, and all the new comers that were coming after html like it was predicted, are just gone, and it was the main argument from people like you who were supporting admins that time, i don't know anyone from that period of time....
