What is the best war/strategy game story line?

Can you please share which is the best war/strategy game story line you have seen?
How important is the story line for you? Comment please.

There no are a best strategy in atwar all have different good points and his use depend of your position economy and your country some strategy could be general like pd or imp but those one are bad when you fight big and rich country.

Mostly its based on WW2 is the best. Alternate maps tend to have good storylines. Also maps by Aetius and Pyrrhus tend to have nice stroylines as they follow historical events and use events to force events that would make the scenario follow a story

Alot of fun happens when wars grand alliances and coalitions form when people band together. It's even more interesting when the countries that band together aren't on the best terms or were recently in a war with each other, and decide to settle differences and fight together to protect sovereignty.
