If you don't peace, your opponent will gang on you no joke.
And this is a problem because...?
the answer is right in that statement because 100% true all the time in FFA
There is still one winner. You still need to defeat everyone else to win.
What's the problem?

you can ally win and you can't fight everyone alone or you die with no benefit of sp since you won't last long. And you can end alliance anyways

"you can ally win"
Read some of the previous comments. This can be fixed by making "locked settings" the default options, so FFA games stay FFA and there is no possibility of an ally win.
"you can't fight everyone alone"
Shouldn't reasonable players like you be trying to avoid this possibility? I mean, unless you can't negotiate at all, it's not that tough to not be the odd one out.
"you can end alliance anyways"
Sorry, but I don't understand this point. Can you explain this further? Thanks.

lock setting with how many allies?
you can easily engotiant a peace by just sending peace on turn turn 2
even IF you ally players, you still have the option to end the alliance and kill them and it's fair and strategic.
If you don't like peace then why not play a game where you have 0 alliance and lock setting oh wait atwarian don't play those shit because they can't play without allies or secret peace.

Therefore there is no point in limiting the number of peace treaties because AtWar players won't play those games.
Therefore, this suggestion shouldn't be implemented.
