Serbian news today... "Za Drugi svetski rat znamo imena 392.738 naših pokojnika. Nedostaju imena 1.428.262 žrtve"
To translate... "for world war 2 we know the names of 392.728 of our deceased... we are missing 1.428.262 victims"
Guess fucking why... because this 1.428.262 dont exist and out of 392.728 my Croatian grandpa is one of them.
Its too funny btw. to claim a specific number of 1.428.262 ...and then say, we never really found close to this many bodies and we dont know their names.

One Croatian said to me that his teacher in school claim that Croats in WWII killed only 15,000 Serbs. So you should not listen to any side in Balkan.
Take neutral investigators for a witness. Like Simon Wiesenthal Center (experts for WWII civilian casualties).

As for these 'experts' from Simon Wiesenthal Center, I have read every single text and stats they have published about Jasenovac and guess what.... it doesn't look they are as expert as you're claiming.
Firstly there were - 85 000 victims
Secondly there were - 100 000 victims
Thirdly there were - 90 000 victims
Maybe they could make a deal between themselves before publishing it officialy?
According to the most systematic (Yugoslav) census , which was published in the 1964 by the Commission for a list of victims of war of the Federal Executive Council (government) Yugoslavia, in Jasenovac were killed 59,188 people, of which 33 000 were Serbs.
Majority of the rest neutral international researches mention numbers between 40 000 - 65 000 victims. So, I will rather trust it than someone who changed their official number announcement for at least 3 times.
