I had turned on the TV after the 1st plane hit, so I was still watching when the 2nd plane hit on live TV. Will never forget it.

F for the fallen, F for those who fought, and F to those who facilitated the attacks.

I was only a small child when it happened, but I'll never forget being whisked home as quickly as possible from my Aunt's house because we were convinced we were being invaded or something along those lines. I live right next to an active military base, and I remember the roads being shut down and APCs rolling down the street and A-10 Warthogs patrolling the skies all afternoon. I was too young to remember the broadcast too well, but one point in particular- whether it be real or my imagination- where the news broadcast soberly zoomed in on the second tower smoking atop a blank skyline was surreal as hell.

F for the people who died, and the soldiers that fought the jihadis in the middle east

Iraq didn't attacked USA and have nothing to do with 9/11. USA justified Iraq war with "WMD" story. Also most of hijackers were from USA's best ally. (Saudi Arabia and UAE)

That's true, I'm not disputing that. Saudi indeed was the source of most of the terrorists. I'm saying that whoever the jihadis were were bad, whatever their nationalities

I used to go to a school in queens right next to one of the bridges crossing to manhattan and remember seeing from the top floor the towers and all the smoke , ppl flooding the school to take their kids home etc and the coming weeks/months of patriotism and war fever ...

Only when i left the usa and started reading/learning facts from sources not from the usa did i realize how fucked up the invasions/mass murder commited by the USA were, and how they were all done under the false ilusion of justice/payback....

Its sad how easy it is to manipulate people when the goverment floods the media with false information and fire up a sense of patriotism ..

F for 9/11/1973 RIP to the chileans killed by just one of the many coup d'etat orchestrated by USA.

For a brief moment, America was united in the wake of evil. I remember flags hung out every window, we mourned for our lost loved ones, and we fought back. I was born in early 2001, so I remember the attacks vividly.

We do not negotiate with terrorists, and we will not negotiate with the Taliban.

The countervailing forces of interventionism and non-interventionism have produced gridlock and have seriously weakened America's position in the world. In a perfect world, I would have 1 million U.S. soldiers sent abroad to sort out the issue once and for all. In an imperfect world, I believe that we must disengage.

By disengage, I mean that we must eliminate our police presence, and in its place expand the purview and authority of the CIA and other intelligence agencies. 9/11 was not a tragedy, because a tragedy would imply that it happened for reasons out of our control. We could have easily prevented 9/11, but intelligence failed the United States and those 3,000 who lost their lives on that day. Intelligence services must be protected and supplemented with an according military presence, but if we have the intelligence to prevent attacks like 9/11 from happening, then there's no need for the bulk of our soldiers to stay in Afghanistan and provoke incipient, radical Islamic uprisings.

The people of the United States have a Second Amendment right for a reason, and the people of the Middle East know why.

Edit:
Actually I might reconsider this position because I really hate Muslims, I'll write a post on my thoughts later.

I'm not sure about that, Trump was really reckless in how he initially handled North Korea and Iran. Although in the end the North Korea situation was de-escalated and Trump did a big switcheroo on his treatment of Kim Jong Un. Let's see how this Iran situation plays out; Trump did a good thing in removing Bolton but he really needs to tone down his rhetoric and think before he talks.
