Regularly reset Favorite Strategies

I've never taken favorite strategies really seriously because I have no idea how they are 'calculated'. Are those the most played strategies over all games a player has ever played? If so, wouldn't it be cooler to reset favorite strategies let's say every dueling/cw season? Then they would actually reflect what one is currently playing. Who cares what strategies I used in 2016.
